At John Geyston's Premier Martial Arts our instructors go through a very extensive selection process to insure we have only the best and most talented instructors in the world. Once selected, they are put through in an intense and rigorous series of training colleges to guarantee the quality of instruction that our students will receive. Once a Premier Martial Arts instructor is certified to teach our unique and effective system, they are then required to receive 40 hours of continuing martial arts and instructor education yearly in addition to weekly training focused on teaching and physical skills. This ongoing training allows our instructors to stay up to date on the latest and most effective self defense techniques, teaching methods, nutrition and exercise science. This re-certification process is our assurance that every Premier Martial Arts student will continue to receive only the very best in martial arts training.  Master John Geyston known to his students simply as Hanshi is currently an 8th Degree Black Belt in Kenpo-Jitsu, a 6 time Hall of Fame inductee. He is the active Chief Master Instructor and founder of the JGPMA. He is considered a pioneer in the modern day martial arts industry. Hanshi has enjoyed over thirty years as a martial artist, an athlete and a award winning martial arts instructor. He is a former top-ranked competitor in forms, kickboxing, fighting and weapons. He has hosted and produced over 15 instructional DVD's, has been featured in various books and magazines and worked in the film industry as action stunt fighter and actor. His instructional series has sold internationally and he is one of the nations
most sought out leading seminar instructors. He is an active instructor
teaching at his JGPMA academy and continues to train and learn a variety of arts to add to our Multi-Style training system.

 Master Van Wirth holds the rank of 4th Degree black belt and the title of Renshi. He has studied the martial arts for over 25 years and is a master instructor for the both the adult and junior programs and acts as the school's Program Director. As the Program Director he is able to pursue his life long goal in the martial arts and help families find the program that meets their goals and how they can enjoy the life empowering development of our program.

 Sensei Logan Wirth is a 2nd degree black belt and is our chief junior instructor heading up the 5-7 year and 8-12 year old program. He also is currently working on his bachelor in education.

 Sempai Vince Eazelle Full time martial art professional and is one of the
fastest upcoming martial arts athletes in the Midwest. He is the JGPMA
academy operational manager, adult martial arts instructor responsible for teaching fitness kickboxing and JGPMA's fight team, he is the fight teams captain leading the team by example with undefeated record. He is always there to serve the members needs at JGPMA.

Hi, I'm Sempai Jordan. When I was sixteen I started training with John Geyston's Premier Martial Arts for three reasons: (1) I wanted to learn to defend myself, (2) I wanted a good workout, and (3) I thought it was cool.
Now that I have trained here for several years those goals have not changed, but I have learned that there is more to John Geyston's Premier Martial Arts then just punching and kicking. I have learned that being a black belt is not about being the best but rather being my best; I must get a little better today and a little better tomorrow. This has given me the confidence to do what I need to do even if it makes me nervous, because it does not matter how well I do as long as I do my best. I am no longer the shy teenager I once was. I am very honored to be an assistant instructor here and to have the opportunity to share with your children the many benefits of training at John Geyston's Premier Martial Arts.
